Next Incorporation Workshop 5/12/07 9:00 a.m.

The next Incorporation workshop has been planned for May 12, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. at the NCSD building, 148 Wilson, Nipomo. The Keynote speaker will be Paul Hood, the Executive Officer of San Luis Obispo LAFCO. Paul is very knowledgeable about the incorporation process. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions about the incorporation process. I also believe Katcho will also be in attendance.

In addition to Paul Hood, we will formally introduce the Steering Committee members for the Nipomo Incorporation Committee for Education (NICE), as well as the board of directors and an update on the committee’s activities. We will also see a very informative presentation about the most accurate and credible population figures for Nipomo and the boundaries which encompass that population projection.

Don’t miss out on this informative workshop. You will also have the opportunity to exchange your own ideas with fellow residents, and help shape and move Nipomo’s incorporation movement forward. Please plan to attend and plan to bring a friend or neighbor.

If you have questions, email Mike Eisner at theotherm@aol.com, or Guy Murray at guy.murray@gmail.com.

We look forward to seeing you all there. The agenda follows:
