The Nipomo Incorporation Committee for Education is holding is quarterly workshop on 10/20/07 at 9:00 a.m. at the Black Lake Golf Resort. We will discuss essential city services required for the new Town of Nipomo, and how the community will handle the needs of those services. Battalion Chief Bill Fisher from CDF, and Chief Martin Basti of the San Luis Obispo Sheriff’s Department will speak. The general public is invited. Come, and plan to bring a friend. The program for today will deal with “Essential City Services” for the new Town of Nipomo. How will a new community handle the needs of police, fire and ambulance? While it is too soon to discuss actual costs today, we will hear from our speakers on how these services can be transferred from the County to the community.
